Comcast is providing Cape & Islands Veterans Outreach Center with a new “Lift Zone” at our Hyannis location. This program is designed to provide non-profits and various other social agencies with a free high speed internet connection for the clients. CIVOC is working on putting together a “Veterans Technology Access” program which will include a small computer lab at the Stevens Street location. Veterans will be able to stop in to use the computer and/or the free high speed internet, to access any web-based benefits programs, as well as being able to come in and print, scan and email documents for free.
