Cape and Islands Veterans Outreach Center named sole beneficiary of Bud’s Mini-Golf “End of Season Fun-Raiser”

Harwich Port, MA – On Saturday, October 29th, 2022, Bud’s Mini Golf, a popular fixture in the Lower Cape region for its welcoming commitment to families, will host its 2nd Annual “End of Season Fun-Raiser”, with 100% of the proceeds this year being donated to the Cape and Islands Veterans Outreach Center (CIVOC) to support their rapidly growing “Rides for Veterans” transportation program.

The “Fun-Raiser” runs the entire operating day, from 9:30 am until 6 pm, with a “rain date” of Sunday, October 30th.  Admission will be just $10 per person, per round of golf, and Bud’s is also hoping to attract other local businesses and individuals to become hole sponsors ($250) or Platinum Sponsors ($500), with the goal of raising at least $15,000 that will benefit military veterans from across the Cape and the Islands.

Bud’s Mini Golf (www.BudsMiniGolf.com) is located at 9 Sisson Road, Harwich Port…directly across the street from the Shaw’s Supermarket.  People who are unable to attend the Fun-Raiser or who want to make a donation, can do so directly on “Fun-Raiser” page at BudsMiniGolf.com.

CIVOC is a tax-deductible, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and was founded in 1983 by a group of Vietnam Veterans who did not find the services and programs they needed to successfully

transition back to their communities anywhere in our region.  CIVOC advances that mission by building upon strong relationships within the Cape Cod community, and well as a wide range of national and regional grantors.  For more about CIVOC’s mission, areas of impact, funding policy and annual reports, visit our new website at www.capeveterans.com.
