Through NCHV’s nonpartisan partnership with Lyft’s Voting Access Program, veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness can access up to $50 in ride credit, valid through November 3, 2026.
This resource is being shared with NCHV members to help the veterans you serve overcome transportation barriers to voting. Please share the code directly with veterans who need assistance and avoid posting it publicly. Credits are available in limited quantities.
Add the Ride Code
Veterans should enter the code in their own Lyft account:
- Open the Lyft app.
- Tap You in the bottom-right corner.
- Tap Rewards, then Enter code +.
- Enter NCHV2026.
Once added, the credit will automatically apply to eligible rides.
Request a Ride
Enter the destination, select a ride type, and confirm the pickup location. Review the fare and applied credit before requesting the ride.
Important Details
NCHV ride code: NCHV2026
- In the Lyft app, tap You → Rewards → Enter code +.
- Each user can claim the code once and use the $50 across multiple rides until the balance is exhausted or the credit expires.
- Tips are not covered. Riders should review the applied credit before requesting a ride and check the app for the exact expiration time.
NCHV credits are limited. Please share the code directly with veterans who need assistance rather than posting it publicly.
Election Day backup: If NCHV’s credits have run out, Lyft’s public code VOTE26 offers 50% off one eligible ride, up to $10, on November 3 between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. local time. This code is for Election Day only, is subject to availability and Lyft’s terms, and cannot be combined with other ride offers. View details and restrictions.
