Stress is unavoidable, but how we respond to it can be transformed. This two-hour, interactive workshop provides an introduction to stress reduction using evidence-based techniques designed to help participants cultivate calm, focus, and resilience. Rather than a lecture, this session emphasizes practical, hands-on skills that participants can immediately apply to manage stress and regain a sense of control. The techniques are accessible, step-by-step, and suitable for anyone interested in learning effective stress-management strategies. The workshop will be led by Adam Liss, a Cape Cod resident since 1977, who trained at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center’s Stress Reduction Clinic and Center for Mindfulness. Mr. Liss has been offering stress reduction classes for more than twenty years.
