Unrestricted donations provide the support needed to provide veterans in need a place to call home, access to healthy food, and support from a counselor and case manager. Over the course of FY20 there were nearly 220 veterans who accessed homeless services on the Cape and Islands. Including those who are near homelessness, on any given night there are over 50 veterans who are actively without permanent housing living in our community. Please support the Cape and Islands Veterans Outreach Center so no veteran is left behind to fight their personal battle alone. All donations go directly toward supporting services.
Sustaining support through a monthly contribution provides the funding needed to ensure veterans in need have a place to call home, access to healthy food, and support from a counselor and case manager. $5 a month, or more, saves lives and reconnects veterans to the families and communities for which they have sacrificed. Please consider becoming a Sustaining Member by choosing a monthly gift that you are comfortable with. Any amount helps us toward our goal of ending chronic veteran homelessness in our community.

Bequests and Planned Giving
Consider leaving a legacy of support by making a planned gift to the Cape and Islands Veterans Outreach Center. Planned gifts allow you to combine your charitable giving goals with your estate and financial planning goals. Your planned gift – no matter what size – can leave a legacy that ensures that no veteran is left to fight their personal battle alone.
Planned giving, or legacy giving, is any significant gift arranged in the present and allocated at a future date. Unlike gifts of cash, planned gifts typically come from assets in your estate, rather than disposable income. As part of your overall financial and/or estate plans, it can provide financial benefit as well as tax deductions to you as a donor.
